here are the (almost complete) characters from "the fifth columnist": character close-ups are my speciality so it's been a while since i thought of doing something like this. most of the drawings were made during office hours (me so BAD!) with simple pen on paper--and i'm actually liking the effect!

basically i ran some random searches on people's faces on google--this was fun cos i am very particular about facial characteristics (esp. for older characters). i'm rather impressed that some of the characters with russian names manage to look russian! :D so do the blacks and chinese... although the jewish look more greco-roman to me... sorry! ^^;

the diagram for the piece was inspired by ~Chavs's Mind Machine: [link] see if you can figure out which ones the bad guys are!! :XD: i'll give one point for each headcount!! :thumbsup: OH, and in case you're wondering who the little boy at the bottom is....

Hmm..the bad guys... I have few in my mind but I'm not sure even though their face look "evil".
But this is surely a great idea especially if you're making comic! :D Easy to see if there's two too similar faces.
Wow. I gotta use that someday.

You did an excellent job in creating a cast of interesting looking characters!! As for bad guys....I'm basing this purely on who I think look evil ^^;, but I think Sergey Vavilov, Alexandr Kunznetsov, Vincent Zhao, Abraham Richards, Leonid Khurschev, and Mr. ? are the bad guys ;)!

You've managed to give each character uniqueness.
I don't know about the bad guys... The best bad guys look like anyone, which makes them all the more fearsome... ;-)
Maybe you're planning a big twist at the end of 5th Columnist where Bishop is revealed to be the uber-evil mastermind! ;-)

looks amazing. as someone said before you've given each character their own individual characteristics. amazing. i still have trouble with that. i think Brandon Chang is my fave thus far. i love his eyes. great job.

Great variety of characteristics and distinctions. I can't see any any links between your composition and my hexagonal diagram. No need to give me credit for that. This is entirely your own work of art. A big family tree you got. I'm sure it has a couple of snakes in it. Few of the Russians look quite good. All the ladies look yummy. The bearded geeser looks like a Scotsman. The only thing missing there is a Jimmy Hat. XD. Wagner's kid is a heartbreaker. Adorable looking kid with enchanting eyes. Vincent Zhao is a spitting image of your brother Alvin. I love his slant eyes. That's why Alvin is the most huggable looking panda in the world. Hahaha. Undoubtly my favorite character in the family tree must be Abraham Richards. He's a murky looking limey. Totally grass. Wow!!! I'm seriously impressed. :#1: :highfive: :w00t: :heart: :blowkiss:
